Hey there – thank you for your note – which actually prompted me to edit this entry – unfortunately, that event has changed. Mr. Sackner’s wife has had some medical problems – I think a fall – and he can’t get to Roanoke during the festival because of that, but hopes to reschedule. Instead, the event will be a film screening. Should still be a good one!

This is GREAT! Its the first time I have felt the Taubman has something I’m interested in. I’m looking forward to visiting the museum.

Great idea Matt! Thanks for the invite. Wish you much success. Of course, I’ll try to make it, but no promises. Been thinking about you recently. This semester, I’m taking a course at ODU called “Classical Rhetoric and Theory Building.” We’ve been studying the Sophists, Plato, and soon other Classical Greek philosophers/writers/personalities. You’d be right in your element .

Hope you’re doing okay. Sounds like you are. All’s well at NSU. Again, good luck with the program. We must talk soon so you can update me on your doctoral studies.

Hello, I just wanted to say, that I recently saw Ms. Sunny Smith, at the downtown, Main Library, and my family enjoyed her concert. She has a fabulous personality, is creative in her art, and has a gift of artistic showmanship. Roanoke should welcome her to our city, and be happy to have her. We loved her!
